Our dear brother Doug Harris went to be with The Lord today, 17th May, at 9.00 am. Those of you who watch Revelation TV will know that Doug has been struggling with cancer for several months now and his death is a release for him into the arms of Jesus.

Doug was more than a work colleague and Director of Operations with us here at Revelation TV. He was a friend, a brother in the Lord, an expert in the cults throughout the UK through his work with Reachout Trust, a pastor and a confidante to so many on their Christian journey.

Doug was away for a weekend of teaching last November. When he returned his skin colour had changed. He went to the local A and E hospital in Spain for a checkout. They kept him in for tests and it was from there that he was transferred back to the UK just before Christmas. The tumour that was discovered was too near his liver to operate and Doug refused Chemotherapy - rather depending upon God to do what He wanted to do in his life.

The Reverend Jim Craig is passionate about the arts and about how the church can engage with the arts.

He came to faith while studying at art college in the early 1990s and today is community arts chaplain for the parishes of Gateshead and Bensham in the Diocese of Durham.

The role was the brainchild of the two parishes, who wanted "to make the arts more accessible to the people of the town", he explains.

The creation of the position coincided with the regeneration of the Gateshead Quayside, which included the opening of the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art in 2002 and the Sage Gateshead in 2004.

The Church of England has released prayers and liturgical resources for the 60th anniversary of the Queen's coronation.

The Queen and other members of the royal family will mark the occasion by attending a service of thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey on 4 June.

The resources include texts adapted from the 1953 coronation service, including the words used when The Queen received the Bible from the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland: "Here is the Wisdom; This is the royal law; These are the lively Oracles of God."

The Dean of Westminster Abbey has written a Coronation Anniversary Prayer approved by the Queen and commended for use throughout the Church by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York.

Building the Foundation this month will take place tomorrow (Tuesday) evening from 20.00hrs until midnight. This may be our final Building the Foundation and we are excited to share reasons for this decision with you tomorrow.

You may be familiar with Pastor Derek Walker. His programmes are featured each week on Revelation TV. He has also been a frequent guest on the Q&A show with Howard Conder.

Derek is the Pastor of the Oxford Bible Church. He gained a 1st Class Honours degree in Mathematics at St. Catherine's College, Oxford and for the last 8 years, he has been working with Martin Thompson to overcome some of the unresolved issues of Bible Chronology.
