THE BEATITUDES:

Matthew 5:3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.   4 "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. 5 "Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.   6 "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.   7 "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. 8 "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.   9 "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.   10 "Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.   11 "Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.   12 "Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.   13 "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.   14 "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden;   15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.   16 "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

WHY IS THERE SO MUCH CRIME?

Ecclesiastes 8:11 Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed quickly, therefore the hearts of the sons of men among them are given fully to do evil.   12 Although a sinner does evil a hundred times and may lengthen his life, still I know that it will be well for those who fear God, who fear Him openly.   13 But it will not be well for the evil man and he will not lengthen his days like a shadow, because he does not fear God.

FALSE TEACHERS AND FALSE PROPHETS IN THE CHURCH:

2 Peter 2:1 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.   2 Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned;   3 and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.   4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment;   5 and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6 and if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example to those who would live ungodly lives thereafter;   7 and if He rescued righteous Lot, oppressed by the sensual conduct of unprincipled men   8 (for by what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day by their lawless deeds),   9 then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment,  10 and especially those who indulge the flesh in its corrupt desires and despise authority. _Daring, self-willed, they do not tremble when they revile angelic majesties,   11 whereas angels who are greater in might and power do not bring a reviling judgment against them before the Lord.   12 But these, like unreasoning animals, born as creatures of instinct to be captured and killed, reviling where they have no knowledge, will in the destruction of those creatures also be destroyed,   13 suffering wrong as the wages of doing wrong. They count it a pleasure to revel in the daytime. They are stains and blemishes, reveling in their deceptions, as they carouse with you,   14 having eyes full of adultery that never cease from sin, enticing unstable souls, having a heart trained in greed, accursed children;   15 forsaking the right way, they have gone astray,......

LAWS OF GOD:

Exodus 20:1 Then God spoke all these words, saying,   2 "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.   3 "You shall have no other gods before Me.   4 "You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth.   5 "You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me,   6 but showing loving kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.   7 "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.   8 "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.   9 "Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a sabbath of the LORD your God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you.   11 "For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.   12 "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land which the LORD your God gives you.   13 "You shall not murder.   14 "You shall not commit adultery.  15 "You shall not steal.   16 "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.   17 "You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife or his male servant or his female servant or his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbour."

Matthew 22:34 But when the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered themselves together.   35 One of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him,   36 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"   37 And He said to him, " `YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.'   38 "This is the great and foremost commandment.   39 "The second is like it, `YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.'   40 "On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."

John 14:15 "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

Matthew 5:17 "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. 18 "For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 "Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 "For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. "

Psalms 1:1 How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers!   2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night.   3 He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.   4 The wicked are not so, But they are like chaff which the wind drives away.   5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. 6 For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

WHAT NEXT ?

Ephesians 5:27 that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.

2 Peter 3:11 Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,  ………. 14 Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless, ……

James 1:27 Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

Matthew 25:31 "But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne.  32 "All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats;   33 and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.   34 "Then the King will say to those on His right, `Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.   35 `For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;   36 naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.'   37 "Then the righteous will answer Him, `Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink?   38 `And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You?   39 `When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?'   40 "The King will answer and say to them, `Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.'   41 "Then He will also say to those on His left, `Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;   42 for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink;   43 I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.'   44 "Then they themselves also will answer, `Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?'   45 "Then He will answer them, `Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.'   46 "These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

Daniel 2:44 "In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom (a ruling power; a government)which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms (world ruling powers, governments),but it will itself endure forever.

1 Corinthians 15:24 Then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power.  25 For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.   26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death.   27 For HE HAS PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS FEET. But when He says, "All things are put in subjection," it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him.   28 When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all.
