Howard Conder - Co founder

Howard has had a varied life. Starting off as a drummer in such 60s groups as The Baron Knights and Joe Brown and the Bruvvers, he found himself running his own company in the music business at the age of 23. He was rich, successful but not contented and embarked on a spiritual search at about that time, examining other religions but seeing truth only within the pages of the Bible. In 1982 he married Lesley and, after running a recording studio in Florida, they joined YWAM's Discipleship Training School course. Then, although Howard intended to join their Media team in Texas, the Lord spoke to him through a man of God, indicating that he should go to Eastern Europe instead. Howard was obedient in this and he and Lesley spent some time in Romania. Soon afterwards, Howard felt the Lord stirring up a desire to see quality Christian Television established in the UK. This started to become reality in 1995 and particularly so a couple of years later, when he produced the successful 'Revelation' interview programmes. Then, in 2003, he launched Revelation TV with Lesley and the rest, as they say, is history.

Lesley Conder - Co founder

Lesley has been married to Howard for 26 years. Shortly after they married they moved to Florida in USA and set up a recording studio which became hugely successful and also gave them their first taste of Christian Music. Also, this gave them their first taste of church life where praise and worship replaced hymns and Bible study taught us the significance of actually inviting Jesus into our hearts and being 'born again', a term they were just not used to! They have four lovely children, Luke, Joel, Rebecca and Bethany, all of whom are heavily involved in the running of Genesis and Revelation TV and whose skills vary from Playout operators to schedulers to camera operators to sound operators to programme presenters. They are all dedicated to the vision and work hard to help reach those who need to be fed through music, testimonies, ministry, and talk shows. Lesley works mainly in the office and also handle much of the advertising and sale of airtime as well as viewer response. Her days are long and she often finds it quite a challenge to juggle the demands of family life with the ministry of Genesis and Revelation TV. Lesley says 'It must be through God's Grace that our children are well cared for, fed healthy meals, and live in a nice clean environment!! Revelation TV is not a job for me, it is our life ,and we give our life to The Lord to use us as He so chooses. I still can't understand why God would have chosen such an ordinary family to do such an unordinary task but we have been obedient and carry the vision with enthusiasm and determination!'

Gordon Pettie - Trustee / Presenter

Gordon grew up in Liverpool and worked for the Civil Service before going to Bible College where he met Lorna, who was already a student there. As a child, he went every year, with his family, to the Isle of Man for his summer holidays. There, he found a Scripture Union Beach Mission, were he committed his life to Christ, as an 11 years old. Years later, the Lord led him to join Scripture Union as a Children’s Evangelist, and be in charge of their work in the North of England. In recent years, opportunities have come to service in various means, including being a Trustee of Reinhard Bonnke’s ministry in the UK, Christ for all Nations; Barry and Batya Segals’ ministry, the Joseph Storehouse Trust; and Tommy Tenney’s ministry, the God Chasers Network UK. Gordon is also Trustee of the Revelation Foundation.

Lorna Pettie - Trustee / Presenter

Lorna grew up on the Wirral, and found the Lord Jesus as her Saviour, when her sister invited her to a local church Youth Group. Her passion to learn more about her Saviour, led her to become a student at the Birmingham Bible Institute where she met Gordon. As family came along, her time was divided between assisting in the work Gordon was doing, as well as looking after 3 children, (and more latterly 5 grandchildren!) Her gifting is in talking to people about the Lord and nurturing young Christians in their faith, either on a one to one, or in small groups. The Lord has led her into a powerful intercessor and deliverance ministry.

Yemi Balogun - Presenter/ Producer

Yemi Balogun is the Presenter of the programme, ‘Church in Focus’. A programme designed to highlight the works of ministries, working hard for the establishment of God’s Kingdom on earth. He is also the producer of a programme called, ‘The Fourth Dimension’. A programme that deals mostly with the supernatural. All on RevelationTv and Genesis TV. Yemi is a man that is totally committed to the advancement of the Kingdom of God on earth. An Evangelist, Pastor, with Apostolic and Prophetic unction, a great expositor of the Word of God and a great encourager. He visits churches regularly sharing the undiluted word of God, without compromise, fear or favour. He runs the Marketing and the advertising department, dealing with organisations that want to have regular programmes or advertise on both channels. He has planted a church and a Prisons ministry in Ghana, to minister to inmates with the hope of setting up a halfway house in future for the total rehabilitation of prisoners who finish serving their sentences, so that the Lord may use the testimonies of their mouths to glorify Himself. The church in Ghana also ministers to orphans, widows and old age pensioners through ministries that minister to them directly. He is married to Sylvia, with three lovely children, Amie, Ayodele and Jaheel.

Steve Jeffery - Technical Director

Steve was raised in Devon and has spent most of his working life as a BT engineer but now uses the skills he obtained from that career path to assure that the technical side of Genesis - Revelation runs smoothly. Steve was born to Christian parents, he dedicated his life to Jesus in his late teens and received the call to take the Gospel quickly to the masses. Broadcasting is at the speed of light so he is happy working here.

Susie Gray - Office Manager

Susie was born in and has lived in North London for most of her life. Following a GNVQ in Media, Susie studied for a degree in Film Studies at the Southampton Institute. After graduating in 2004 she began her career working freelance as a runner and camera operator at Christian events and a production assistant on feature films. Alongside this she worked in the British Red Cross office as an office assistant. Susie started working with Revelation TV as a volunteer camera operator on 'Touching Lives' and was soon offered a full-time position in the office and was later promoted to manager when the position became available. Susie was brought up in a Christian family but it wasn’t until her older sister started a relationship with Jesus and was Born Again that she began to wonder what was missing from her walk with God. Susie gave her life to Jesus and was baptised in the Holy Spirit at a Spring Harvest conference six years later.

Elena Brefo – Scheduling Manager

Elena has been working for Revelation TV since it was only 6 months old. Over the years she has seen many changes to the channel even in her role in the company. She has tried her hand at the production department, the office and the scheduling department. She was also instrumental in bringing R Music to the air. Elena has been presenting on the channel for a long time her first presenting job was on “Testimony Time” in 2004 and she later went onto present various programmes including the very popular youth programme Free4all. Elena married Obed on the 8th of March 2008.

Zanda Jones - Researcher / Producer / Presenter

Zanda was born in Dulwich, London into a Christian family. She grew up believing in God but had never pursued having a personal relationship with Jesus. At 17years old, Zanda moved out of the family home, after the divorce of her parents, and soon after found that living independently was not as glamorous as she had first thought. After a period off real sadness and desperation, a good friend invited her along to church and several years later Zanda decided to give her heart to Jesus and invited Him in to her life. Zanda has spent most of her working life supporting the needs of vulnerable children who have been fostered. She began her career at Genesis – Revelation TV as a volunteer researcher for ‘Express Yourself’ and soon became a presenter on the channel, fronting the youth programme Free4all each Thursday. She felt the call of God to leave her job as a Fostering Coordinator and shared this revelation with Lesley who promptly hired her to take the recently vacated position of researcher. Within weeks of taking the position Zanda made a huge impact on Howard with her first documentary on the Holocaust and is now commissioned to carry out other documentary work that Howard has had on his heart for a long time.

Marc Angel – Programme Director

Marc was born and brought up in New Malden and is one of the youngest members of our team. He was originally introduced to Genesis - Revelation TV by his sister who used to work in the scheduling department and after just one day of volunteering in the production department joined the team as a Production Assistant. After just a short time in the company he has become very competent and now he works mainly as a sound engineer for the live programs and the recordings in our New Malden studio. He has been such a blessing to the team as he is very hard working and we look forward to seeing him grow in the company and reach his potential.

Regan Hill - Scheduler

Regan was brought up in a commited Christian home, so she has always known Jesus! She was home-schooled by her parents from the age of 11 and really excelled in her education. She started to take her faith very seriously at the age of 15 and decided to make the commitment and be baptised! At the age of 17 she began volunteering for Revelation TV as a camera operator and later joined the team as a scheduler.

Catrina O’Sullivan – Programme Director

Catrina aka Cat; was born and raised in Ireland, raised in a catholic family, she gave her live to the Lord when a friend invited her to a Barry Smith meeting. After graduating from University in 2001, the Lord open doors and she got the opportunity to work with and independent director on documentaries for Channel 4 and the BBC. She has been working at Genesis - Revelation since it was a year old, starting off as a volunteer in the production department. Then she worked as part of the office administrative team and eventually transferred back to the production team. She now works covering many areas from camera and floor manger on the live music shows, to sound and programme director on the talking head programs, such as R Mornings and Free 4 All.

Rebecca Conder – Receptionist

Rebecca is Howard and Lesley’s eldest daughter and a core part of the team. She is great at multitasking and has worked in most departments, she began her career in Genesis – Revelation as a camera operator and later moved into the scheduling department where she worked for over a year. When we moved into our New Malden studio in February 2008 she became our receptionist and is now the lovely smiling face that you will see when you come in the front door.

Obed Brefo – Graphics/ Editor

Born in Kumasi, Ghana, his little size 1 shoe’s touched down in the UK when he was 6 years old. Little did he know this was the land he would reside in for the next 19 years of his life, and have his life totally transformed by Jesus Christ. Now in his twenties, the years have swiftly passed by, he’s had his ups and downs, but his life seems to be heading upwards because of Jesus Christ. He is part of the Genesis – Revelation TV team and has worked in a number of different departments within the channel, including scheduling, playout and production. And finally, on Saturday 8th March 2008 he was the groom to a beautiful bride named Elena. They are now happily married and looking forward to what God has in store for them.

Wesley Turner - Playout Operator

Wesley grew up in Kingston, Surrey and studied Motor Sport and Engineering at Brookland College. He previously worked in the Printing and Design industry and is now the head of the Genesis – Revelation TV Playout Department and has worked in this department for the last three years. Wesley’s role takes great dedication and attention to details as it involves maintaining the computer systems and machines that transmit our signal to SKY.

Luke Conder – Programme Director

Luke is the oldest son of Howard and Lesley. He has worked in television production with Howard even before Revelation TV started, doing camera work on various projects in his spare time whilst studying Engineering at Kingston College. Luke has worked in almost all the departments and moves around according to where he is needed. Most recently he has moved into the production department and can usually be found directing the live programmes late in the evening.
